NDUGA - Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 432/Waspada Setia Jaya Kostrad, one of the military units under The Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA in Papua, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in Nduga Regency area, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Saturday, 17 August 2024, the 432 Task Forces, especially the Mugi Post led by First Lieutenant Randita Sukmalangut, and the community of Delit Village, Ilaga District, raised the Indonesian Flags and put up pennants in front of residents' houses.
His emphasis on the Soldiers, the Commander of the 432 Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Zulfikar Akbar Helmi, conveyed the importance of the Task Forces’ attention to the community's needs around the Post. Therefore, since its assignment in Papua, the Mugi Post has conducted Social Communication (Komsos) with various parties to follow up on the emphasis. Through the Komsos, 1LT Randita, with Community Figures of the Delit Village, agreed to raise the Indonesian Flags and put up pennants in front of the residents' houses on Saturday (17/8), coinciding with the commemoration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
The residents, with the assistance of the Soldiers, prepared the flagpoles and the Indonesian Flags. With enthusiasm, the residents and the Soldiers prepared and implemented the installation of the Indonesian Flags and pennants. After the activity, Mr. Alex Murib said, "Thank you, Commander 432. The Indonesian Flags have been raised. Long live Indonesia."
"The initiative of the 432 Task Forces to raise the Indonesian Flags and put up pennants with the Delit Village community implements inclusive social communication between TNI and regional stakeholders to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region, " said HABEMA Commanding General Brigadier General Lucky Avianto upon receiving the program report.
